Cricket world Cup 1795- Eng vs India

The first match of Prudential cup was played between England and India. The toss won by England Caption and he decided to bat bat first. After a good looking start England lost their first wicket at 54 runs. But DL Amiss and KWR Fletcher played a historic partnership and lead the England score to 230.

After Fletcher dismissal AW Greig and the key wicket of Amiss fell with in 15 runs difference, and the two new batsmen were at the Crees. But the magic in the end of England's inning by MH Denness and CM Old 51 runs of just 30 balls. Both of those admitted 88 runs in their team's total which helps more to England team to set a big total at the board for Indian team.

 Indian team's batting start was not so good. They start their inning with the slow run rate and also lost their two batsmen at 50 runs. One of the most bizarre batting efforts in One-Day cricket history was made by Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar. Sunil Gavaskar was not out with 36 runs through the 60 overs. Indian team was only be able to manage 132 runs. England won by 202 runs. The first ever World cup century was scored by DL Amiss who was heartly supported by his partner Keith Fletcher. DL Amiss named the player of the match with a historical century. That was a big and ever green win by England against India with the big margin of 202 runs.
