Rugby



Rugby is a kind of Football and is developed from the version of Football. But in this type of Football there are  no more kicks like, however a player of a team take the ball in hand and run's to the opposition team's goal to score a goal for his team and other team's players try their best to stop him and his team to do so and climbed  with one an other. The game of Football was played at Rugby School between 1750 and 1859 permitted handling of the ball, but no one was allowed to run with it in their hand towards the opposition's goal. In this sport the ball which used is like the shape of an egg.

Hockey


Hockey is the third most viewed sport in the world after Football and Cricket. Hockey is a team sport in which a team of players attempt to score goals by pushing, hitting or flicking the ball in to an opposing team's goal by using stick. It has 2-2.3 billion fans from Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia. International Hockey Federation (FIH) is the global governing body.Hockey has regular International tournaments for both men and women. These include the annual champion trophies, Hockey World Cups, the Commonwealth games, Olympics games and the World Cups for the joiners.


It is most commonly know simply as hockey but the name field hockey is used in countries in which hockey is generally reserved for another form of hockey such as ice hockey and street hockey. The original  Hockey World Cup was held in 1971 which was won by Pakistan and was played on turf with 11players per side. Pakistan has won it 4 times (1971, 1978, 1982 & 1994), followed by the Netherlands 3times and Germany 2times, India and Australia has also won it.

Tennis


The Open Era of tennis began in 1968 when the major tournaments agreed to allow professional players to compete. The four Major tournaments, also called the Slams are the most important events of the years in terms of world tour ranking points, prize money awarded, strength and size of player field and public attention.

Tennis is the fourth most popular sport in the world, but is the most popular individual sport. It is a sport which is equally popular among in men and women. Tennis can be played between two single players or two team of a pair of players each double variant. Lawn tennis is a very high paying individual sport, individual players have made more then $40 million in a year alone.

There are four grand slams in tennis in a calendar year. They are the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. Wimbledon is the oldest one of the grand slams, was founded in 1877, followed by the US Open in 191881, the French Open in 1891 and the Australian Open in 1905. Currently both the US Open and Australian open are played on hard courts, while the French Open is played on clay, and Wimbledon is played on grass.

A player who wins all four Major tournaments as a single or as a part of a doubles team in the same calendar year is said to have achieved the “Grand Slam”. If player wins all four consecutively, but not in the calendar year, it is called a “Non calendar Year Grand Slam”. Winning all four at same point in a career even if not consecutively, is referred to as a “Career Grand Slam”.
